Picture it Brooklyn 2013. A red Carpet in the middle of your street. Walking out of your brownstone and bam there is Lady GaGa standing there giving a interview. I mean yes this is MTV home of today's reality fall out, while trying to still honor the very reason their channel started MUSIC VIDEOS , But let's be honest when was the last time the VMAS were actually the VMAs??? I mean let's talk like 2000 when The award shows were really events not about shock value or who's beefin' with who. Remember when Biggie's Mom and Tupac's mom joined to present an award or when Britney stripped down to a nude body suit dropping her mouse ears for good or when N'sync performed with MJ anyone??? What we have here is a drenched version of what we use to have and that was Entertainment with real talent, But let's Go back for a moment to Last night in Brooklyn: Lady GaGa Opened the show In true GaGa Fashion with her New "Leaked Song" "Applause" where she did 4 yes 4 Costume changes of past favorite looks of hers. great performance but not her best, but welcome back GaGa.The show itself was extremly dragging for a bit until there is The former Disney kid herself Miley Cyrus with hit "We can't stop" there was alot going on there with Miley Twerkin' with the Thick black girls and stuffed animals(can't explain) Just when you thought it ended there, Miley strips off costume #1 (a bear bathing suit) to a Nude two peice and out comes Robin Thicke with "blurred Lines" accompanied with Cyrus then she starts Twerkin on Thicke until they start Robin's New song "Give it to you" with 2 chains and Kendrick Lamar. Then we get to a point of the show where Timberlake Get's the video Vangaurd Award (The Micheal Jackson Award)But here is where shit got real there must have been a huge gap in the performance line up because Timberlake paid tribute to himself for 30 mins. Now as a huge fan of MTV through the years I remember people who got the Video Vangaurd award got a video Montage and that was it collectively 10 mins. well Timberlake basically performed his whole career (solo) and N'sync was on the stage for about 4 seconds and then they were gone. I personal wasn't listening to him due to the known fact he urks me, but that is another post.Then when you started to get almost tired of the show all together they bring out Drake and he was running around on stage but I yawned and his performance was over but it wasn't a highlight for me to care what he was singing or rappin' Then Bruno Mars made his attempt to save this sinking ship with a fantastic Performance he should have saved for the Grammy's But it was a nice song "Gorilla". Poor Katy Perry closed the show with "Roar" I like the song but at that point that show could not be saved for me to really focus on her performance. I can't really tell you who won awards because there wasn't many of those given. It was nice to see Queen B (Lil Kim before y'll try my hand) to present in er hometown. The Pre-Show was better then the award show.It showed arrivals of GaGa, Katy Perry and Danity Kane minus D Woods They looked great.sn: ummm D where are you boo we need you to come back and do your thing..I'm giving this show D- only because there were some moments worth mentioning but not enough...

Robin Thicke Blurred Lines... The Album

Ok. As Hard as I am on our male singers of today , I have got to say I straight slept on Robin Thicke Yes I know where the hell have I been? I was right here and catching a song or two from him, and kept it moving, But like most of you I caught myself doing a mean 2 step at the beginning of the summer To the hit "Blurred lines" and then the eye grabbing video that followed. So when the album was set to come out I didn't seeing myself buying the album, However I found myself on Itunes Tuesday morning purchasing it and haven't stopped playing it since. Cover to cover The lyrics showcase a very laid back confident Thicke just doing his thing. (As music should be) The man has got SOUL and this ain't no studio manufactured mess, He is the REAL DEAL. My Current Favorite song is : Give it 2 U (Remix) w/ Kendrick Lamar & 2 Chains (This version is not for kids) But here Robin shows his swag and may even shock you in the Lyrical content but this Album Here is Worth picking up I recommend the Deluxe Version for the addition songs. Fruitvale Station: I don't know if I can say if it was a good movie based on the fact that this was a true story. I will say that the movie engaged you to the point that you felt that you knew him. He could have been your cousin,neighbor,someone you grew up with. I haven't been so affected by a story since Precious. So leaving the film I was a ball of emotions I cried I was angry but glad I got to know Oscars story. Now I need everyone to see this , but this is a film I never want to see it again like Precious. I just can't. I hope it wins every award it's up for Michael B. Jordan (of the Wire and All my Children) owned that screen.

Now as time has gone on I have tried to keep my mouth shut again Kerry Rhodes and this Russell Simpson being alleged lovers. I refuse to even give this child any credit for anything because I scratching my head trying to factor in after seeing the video of them and the other assistant why would Rhodes have any dealings with Simpson when the other one seemed much more prepped for the key factor in high profile relationships which is say nothing. All of these pics and videos make him look jaded, bitter,broke, and for lack of a better term as Wendy said A "Stunt Queen" The T probably is she was spending unauthorized dollars and was fired or made advances at Rhodes and was shut down. Sorry The Females can eat this one up but this Gay man has seen too many like this searching for their light and 15 mins. As for him with a reality show ain't nobody checking for it because even as a pilot it was trash. So Bossip I hope it was worth it but lil bebe from back alley NC or SC has caught the fever of Country Mouse City Mouse.. From the sticks and gets a chance to see what the good life is she got drunk from and decided that she will keep this mess going no matter what. I'm over it and please can some one get him a style tip and some public speaking classes I am tired of hot messes like this being the face of gay people some of us actually work hard for hat we have on our feet not our backs. #justsaying It's sad and before you go there I am far from Jealous I feel sorry for you that you may never get a job.

Kelly Rowland finds her voice.

With her new album dropping today. Ms.Rowland fans was looking forward to this long awaited album and what she had in store for us. Well with the single last year "ice" with lil Wayne we got a taste of the fire left from "Motivation" however we later learned that "ice" wouldn't be on her upcoming album. So Kelly gave us a single that wasn't just hot but something we all would like to say but maybe a bit to shy to say "Kisses down low" where she gets playful but direct and we heard it. With that ride in full swing later in 2013 she released a track that was so raw and honest "Dirty Laundry" where her past feelings are showcased about life after Destiny's Child and a abusive relationship. As a fan I was both hurt and understanding by her truth it really made me curious about what this album was giving and as of 11pm last night I was pleasantly surprised. She gives you twerking beats,club bumpers,summer jams,soft ballads,sad ballads and more.. My repeats so far are "Red Wine" "Talk a good game" "street Life" "You changed" (Yes I love the song in spite of the fact Beyonces on it) and "Freak" You should pick this Album up if you haven't already cuz your missing out...
