My mom is going to love the Emotions, ChiLites, and Delfonics but we (me and the entire family) are anxious to see Lisa Lisa as well as Heavy D. Kudos to Unsung for highlighting Lisa Lisa, the first Latina to crossover from RnB charts to the Pop charts to AC charts and she even topped the dance charts. Lisa Lisa not only paved the way for Paula Abdul and JLo but you can hear and see Lisa's influence in today's pop music as well; think Ariana Grande and Rhianna. I hope they speak about the duets she recorded with Prince and with Queen Latifa as these songs were never released due to poor management.
