Brazil Talks About Sizzle
So it has been a few weeks and I am finally able to sit down and talk to you all about how sizzle was, and What I feel about the haters and the crazy mess between Miami Vs DC.
So I along with 2 friends went to Sizzle 2012 and had a great time. With all of the people, drinks,Clubs, food and networking Sizzle was definitely the place to be, I won't go into details because most of you want dirt and it's funny because have none to share. I am going to explain to you all haters that Sizzle is not a sex fest, however if you want that it is available to you as it is at your home or where ever the hell you go, It is also not not a place where "Fags" go look in the mirror people there is nothing worst the self hate. What it is,is a way out an escape if you will from all the repeating dryness from your reality. Sizzle is one of a few places you can go and be apart of unity and self love as well as a piece of mind (it is Miami) with clear water, warm weather and best of all NO WORK OR DRAMA. I could count on my hands and toes of the people who have said once I mention Sizzle "I don't do that, or I am not dealing with all them queens" etc. Then I think to myself then out loud: "Bitch.. you do the gay pride world tour and your going off on MIAMI?! You Run to Philly,DC,ATL but for some reason Miami Sizzle is the worst. hmmm. Then I ask. "Have you ever been"? Typical response is "No, But I heard it was messy" Of course and that came from a person who went to be the center of attention like they are at home but they wasn't living for you type person. Of course we all like attention but it's sad that most Haters of Sizzle or anything out of their element is such a horrible thing. It makes me laugh at people who are so afraid of trying something new. Sure their are bodies, cuties, and next to nothing outfits it's hot and it's MIAMI..
I don't understand how there is such a war over Memorial Weekend from DC VS Miami??? I mean Really? Let's look at the facts. Let's take both events away. DC our Nations Capital- Monuments,Museums,So So Clubs,Restaurants..hmmmm on your average day of any day these things can be done and are. Miami-Great weather,Beaches,Resorts, great food,Beautiful people, exclusive clubs..I'll stop there anymore questions? I'm not downing DC because from what I heard they really kicked it up a few notches, However let's be honest it lost it's grip years and began to get repetitive. Yes it was cool this year, but what about next year? Can they keep this up? or was this smoke and mirrors to get you there. Even if Sizzle wasn't up to par Miami has so much more to offer to make up for it. Dwight Powell Has created the perfect event in a city that's already HOT and the best thing is all clubs are within walking distance and if your not a walker there are shuttles to and from. I mean what more could you ask for and it's not all about clubs there are actual events and I don't mean a day in the park either. I'm talking Booze Cruise,White Party,Haulover Beach, and Para sailing and Jet skiing.. So I ask you where is the Beef. The Pricing of clubs are the same as the are in any other cities for Pride events Between 30-40 dollars and no you don't have to go to anything you don't want too your not even obligated to buy VIP passes or to go to clubs as reported we chose to and every club we went too was packed and not empty some clubs even closed at 9am. So you see with every lie told to you about Sizzle here is my Truth about it for the past 3 years and yes it cost some dollars but what vacation that's worth it doesn't cost... Damn they do have payment plans. So now it has said I care not that I live in the DMV area Sizzle get's my vote HANDS DOWN... Keep doing your thing Dwight.. It means that much more that even through the hate you still bring the fire to MIAMI...

Remembering Lisa "Left Eye" Lopez 10 Years Later...
On This day in 2002 We learned yet another part of our musical family Lisa "Left eye" Lopez had pass away due to a accident which is still unclear as to what made her drive off the road. As she was driving there was a camera rolling n which you saw Lopez briefly looking very relaxed and make up free driving along and as the camera pans away to the others in the car and then you see her hand a mean left in to trees then the camera shuts off. As a fan of TLC I was really devastated because of her death and also we had lost Aalyiah 8 short months before and it just seemed like everyone from our childhood favorite artists. So as I look at the pass 10 years I am still sad and I get mad at what we are left with musically but that's for another day. But as we Remember Lisa "Left Eye" Lopez We still have so much music to remember from back in the day... Well Lisa when you were here on earth you provided us so much more then you know and we love you for it. Thank you so much...

Act like a lady and Think like a man....
So seeing this film I must say that this was done very well. The Characters were cast extremely well,I personally couldn't relate to any of these characters however I knew and felt for some of them. It felt like real stories and real people. Of course there was some typical over the top romance scenes which all the ladies went for but other then that I was surprised. Kevin Hart of course made it extremely funny and didn't disappoint While Tiraji's Character will remind you of several woman in movie's like this but because we love her so you over look it. The shocker of the movie for me was the placement of Wendy Williams,Yes while Brief she gave it too you.. While yes this book came out about 2 years ago but after what I saw in the theater it's starting a whole new movement. So fellas if your still up to your old tricks I strongly suggest read this book and stop the BS simply because she is on to you and its a game you can't win so throw your white flags and just play dead... IT'S OVER!!!!

It's Britney Bitch.. Who's Next Ms. Jackson ???
Just when you thought Britney had nothing left to do. It Looks Like Ms. Spears will be a Judge on X-Factor. Sources say Brit will be inking a 15 million dollar deal which will make her the highest paid Judge on TV. Can you say JLO is already planning for next season's Idol Contract ..lol it is also rumored that she has managed to get her soon to be hubby a producing spot on the show and will be by Britney's side the whole time. Good for you Brit. Now La Reid is still a judge and Simone now Brit that's two so who will be the 4th hmmmm could it actually be Ms.Jackson??? Now she has been very coy when asked about it and Janet has been getting much press and buzz these days due to her weight lose (30 lbs)on nutrisystem and Yes Girly is looking fantastic. The Buzz is Janet may step in as a Judge and that she is planning a wedding so who knows what ti believe, I as a serious Miss Jackson fan would like to see her as a judge who better to mentor these hopefuls then Ms. Jackson herself. Come on you know it would be a ratings gainer Brit and her fans and Janet and her fans.. COME ON... I will be following this story and keep you posted..
In Tour News Maxwell and Jill return to the road but separate this time. Jill brings back the Block Party with Herself,Kem, Salt n Pepa and Dougie Fresh limited dates have been released but more are expected to come. Maxwell is only doing 6 cities yes 6 cities and this will feature his entire discography only date announced is in LA at the staple center. Beyonce Concerts in AC aren't selling well some say it's due to the late announcement of the Holiday weekend and some say to expensive however the resort is trying to do damage control and possible do what the Wynn did sometime ago and give away tickets with your room. As well as give tickets away with rooms at other Branches in AC (Trump Marina, and Sheraton)I am sure that by the time the show happens in 6 weeks the shows will somehow be sold out. the stans may have to wait till the last min. to get a seat in the arena due to this resort does not want just anybody there they want high rollers and Vegas style Clientele at this resort.I wonder if this show will be the show as the Roseland shows!!??

Madonna: MDNA
From the singles That have been released so far One (Fan) would think this may be "Confessions on a Dance Floor and Ray of light album" But after listening to it I must say Madonna has done it she is giving dance pop with very personal lyrics with a hint of "Bitch I'm still the queen" There is nothing better than hearing her reinvent herself with hints of new and vintage Madonna i.e. "Girl gone Wild" which looks like the Madonna we all know and love (Shock Value and a Banned video) The very things we have come to expect of the Queen herself without her trying to compete with today's talent... Favs on the Album so far is: "Girl Gone Wild (Bday theme)" , "Superstar, I dnt Give A Feat.Minaj, and I'm a sinner.. Madonna Brings it for her Hardcore fans and even those who looked her in the "Justify My love" days you will love it Go buy it...

Whitney...
(August 9, 1963 – February 11, 2012)
As I was in a Car headed to a good friends Birthday celebration in Philly. I received 2 text messages stating the same "Whitney Houston Died" Confused and numb I went straight to to facebook to see how far this has gone. Was this a sick joke or has this happened for real??? I went to facebook and it was everywhere and I yelled "OMG Whitney died"! Still in shock and disbelief We turned on the radio and there in the Black community when someone has passed the radio does a musical tribute. There it was "Run to you" I couldn't cry because it just shocked me.I just saw her on TMZ with ray J and she seemed in good spirits. I couldn't believe she was now gone. We went to a skating rink and they played good music and I almost forgot what had just happened but then there in a remix was a Whitney song and my heart sank and I skated to the music but it felt wrong to even smile but I did and I started to remember that there was never a moment in my life that Whitney wasn't present I was a kid singing and jumping around to her music and I sang "The greatest love of all" at a kindergarten graduation. and Loved to listen to "I'm your baby tonight" in the 90's and Later I came to just be in Love the passion in her vocals for "The Bodyguard" Soundtrack when she belted out her signature song "I will always Love you" Whitney then Preggers made every ones heart melt by the middle of the song with her range and high emotions but that soundtrack itself made me love her more large in part to "I Have Nothing" She almost brought me to to tears and even when I hear it today it brings such chills down my spine. She then sort of became the Soundtrack queen a bit and Movie star. Whitney went on to do a few songs for "Waiting to Exhale" a film she also starred in and here Whitney gave you range and vocal perfection her radio hit "Shoop (Exhale)" The Urban community made this an anthem. However I was sold on "Why does this hurt so bad" the soundtrack was amazing and then we got to hear Whitney's Gospel abilities In "The Preacher's Wife" soundtrack. My Love for her Increased because you can tell in gospel that she was one with it and this was her truest vocally she has ever been. The album gave you everything Classic Gospel,R&B,Christmas, "I Love The lord" Is one of my personal favorites as well as "step By Step" It was clear that she was here to stay with her own rules and new style.
As I grew older a New album Whitney had done in Just a few weeks. I didn't flinch to buy it but there were some concerns floating like did she still have it or was she finished? Well as A Frustrated Teen who was pissed and bitter from heartbreak and disappointment I will say that every song helped me unlike any couch time could have. Songs like "Heartbreak Hotel" "Not Right but it's ok" but it was The song of all songs "I Learn From The Best" Here she was saying something and I was listening but at the end when she held that note at the end it was quite clear to me that she was singing to me and she required all of the attention. The album was Whitney's Last huge selling album outside of Her Greatest hits However She still put out an album titled "Just Whitney" Where she made it clear that she was taking a que from herself and took charge with songs "Whatchulookinat" "Unashamed" "Try It on my own" I loved it and being such a fan I stood by her side. As the years went by I wonder if she was going to put out new Music and as luck would have it Whitney started to promote "I Look to you" I was so happy and excited "Million dollar bill" was the first single out some liked it some didn't but I did and I brought the album and I got so much inspiration and I saw happiness for her once again. But Then February 11th for what was to be a night of fun 3:55pm Pacific time it was Announced that Whitney E. Houston Had passed away. The caused of death still unknown but you know that when I star has problems in their lives the press are all of a sudden Psychic and can tell exactly what happen in a room where no one was really in. I wrote this Really as a fan to share my moments through her songs and albums , To share what it is like through these of the birth of a star and the life created while celebrating them, while others tear them apart and then all of a sudden care when they pass on. My thoughts and Prayers Go to Whitney's Family especially Bobbie Christina ... my the love from all her true fans Carry you through as your mother becomes you angel...

Madonna ROCKS Super Bowl Halftime show...
Not since Janet Jackson's Half time performance which was over shadowed by stupid parent groups use of the rewind button on their DVR's and the media's ability to zoom in on what was a corner eye view of "nipple gate" has a halftime performance been so hyped and been delivered. I as a fan wasn't expected such a tamed set but I am amazed that she is completely able to do her thing and I love her for it. She opened the show with "Vogue" with a roman empire theme of gold and black and for 12 mins. we were entertained with Cameos from MIA,LMAFO and Cee Lo. Madonna clearly earned her stripes as a performer many years ago ,however from beginning to end she let these young ones know that she is here to stay and will not be moved.
As I was on Facebook during the performance I saw comments like "Madonna sit down, where is GaGa?" And "Before GaGa there was Madonna" and I need people to remember that when you are 53 you tell if you are about to do that many songs in dance all in 12 mins. I sit here at 28 and I am so not sure if I could... Fantastic Job Madonna...
